I still don’t like the hood scoop on the new Chevy/GMC, looks better black but the chrome ones are awful.

Yeah. Right.
It was amazing enough that you finally found a truck the first time, be unbelievable if it happened a second time

Yes, right.

We all know better.

Remember, it will always happen eventually. I posted about Tacomas for like a year, then I got one.

It could happen!

“Like a year”
![]() 03/23/2018 at 15:24 |

Probably more than that if you include other trucks.

Lower it like 6 inches and sign me up

right

Those wheels are bad.

I didn’t stay up past 2 for you to come to this conclusion.

My moms boyfriend traded his Taco for an Avalanche LTZ. No regrets on his part. I love driving the new turbo diesels, laying rubber at 60 mph in a full size truck is fun.

Laying rubber in a 4x2 F150 SuperCab XLT Sport 2.7 EcoBoost with the 3.73 locking rear is fun.
I mean, not that I’d know or anything.

You’re bad
![]() 03/23/2018 at 15:46 |

How can it look so huge from the outside and so cramped on the inside?
![]() 03/23/2018 at 15:46 |
|
Not that I would know the speed limiter is set to 93 mph on a 2015 power stroke and a 2012 Duramax. So annoying.

105 boi.
But not from experience or anything.
![]() 03/23/2018 at 15:57 |

I dont mind it because at least its functional
![]() 03/23/2018 at 16:01 |

They sure don’t feel cramped on the inside, haha.

Wait a year. Once the new bodystyle is over it’s initial demand, they’ll have $20k in incentives on leftover 2018's.

Black wheels are terrible.
![]() 03/23/2018 at 16:43 |

I don’t doubt that but on that driver point of view picture, it looks like it

The DEF tank is a deal breaker for me. The fact that the truck uses DEF isn’t an issue, it’s the location of the tank under the passenger seat. It’s hanging down there just waiting for something to hit it, much like your Truck Nutz dangling from the back. Plus, the filler for the DEF tank is under the hood, on the passenger side, while the fuel door is on the driver’s side.
The current gen Ram trucks are better due to a better located DEF tank and filler, in addition to better suspension. The coil springs on the Ram will ride better, and due to the shorter length and solid front axle, the turning radius is much smaller.
Plus, the selection of brand-specific and obnoxious bumper / window stickers is vastly superior.

I just can’t get past the steering wheel being off center. It’s not that bad, but I notice it every time I’m in a GM truck now.

Duramax’s are garbage.
![]() 03/23/2018 at 18:19 |

From what I’ve heard they’re quite the opposite.
![]() 03/23/2018 at 18:20 |

You’re terrible.
![]() 03/23/2018 at 18:20 |
|
solid no
![]() 03/23/2018 at 18:46 |

It looks just too damn tall. Needs an air ride syteme that can lower for normal driving but lift for towing and hauling.
![]() 03/23/2018 at 19:51 |

From personal experience, they are awful. Also IFS doesn’t belong on a 3/4 ton truck.

I drove a customer’s 2015 sierra today. Yes, they feel cramped. I had to double check AND run the VIN to make sure it wasn’t a canyon by mistake.

At least it has the best-looking silver ado headlights gm has used in over 2 decades.
Super Duty is still better in every single way (except the bumper step, which every truck should have, if only to prevent bumper dimples). I’d chip in $1.00 if you were getting a Super Duty.

Those new Duramaxs are fast as hell. I just ordered my 2018 Silverado 1500 Double Cab Midnight edition this week! It’s a 2LT with All Star Package, 5.3L, Bose, heated seats, TBC, and I think floor liners. Can’t wait till June already have a leveling kit ordered and will probably order the Magnaflow cat back next month.

They are already taking orders for 2019’s but in very limited configurations as they are switching to the new truck the current production capacity is supposed to be very low.

too big.
![]() 03/24/2018 at 18:21 |

Huh, I fit fine in them. More space than I need.

It’s not that they are cramped, it’s that they feel cramped. Less light due to window size/shape, interior layout feeling more confining and less spread out (but not too spread out like a Tundra), chaotic mess of buttons & switches, etc. It all adds up.
